Dryer Vent Cleaning
We start by disconnecting and reorienting the dryer, then clean the lint trap, dryer vent ducting (inside and outside), outside vent cap, install new vent hose if needed, and confirm operation.

Furnace Cleaning
Learn More about Our Different Levels of Cleaning
Level 1
Light topical cleaning of the furnace using shop-vac and wiping down, clean flame sensor probe, change filter, check to make sure vents are blowing properly, and safety and operation check.

Level 2
Same concept as level 1 with a deeper cleaning consisting of the removal of the blower assembly and all metal assessable from furnace to be hand washed. Clean motor and oil as needed. Shop-vac blower housing and burners, clean flame sensor probe, change filter, check to make sure vents are blowing properly, and safety and operation check.

Affordable Heating & Air is a local family-run business serving all of Santa Cruz County. With our original company having been established in 1991, we have been providing exceptional service and customer satisfaction for nearly three decades. We specialize in residential HVAC solutions including sales, service, installation, duct replacement & repairs, duct testing, furnace cleaning, and dryer vent cleaning. About the Owner
I received comprehensive training in the HVAC industry while working with a similar business in San Jose, California in 1985. During this time, I gained the necessary knowledge and experience to become an HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) professional. In 1991, I established my own business for HVAC & Appliance Repair in Santa Cruz. My second iteration of this business became the company I own and operate today, known as Affordable Heating & Air, which was founded in 2001. I specialize exclusively in residential HVAC work, including traditional homes and mobile home systems. We do not provide commercial services. Nearly three decades later, I continue to do what I love: providing comfort and happiness to all our customers in their homes.
